noniin arts info

We started noniin arts after running out of non-toxic solvents, with no way to get them to Australia. Some months later, here we are with more for you as well!

We want to improve access to unique, high quality paints and materials, and support artists of all kinds in their creative practice. We want to offer different options, and excellent materials to explore traditional, new, or transdisciplinary approaches. We also want to help get materials that are hard to get, so let us know if any suggestions!

noniin arts is starting small, staying alternative, and having fun by supporting creative practice and thinking!

events/courses

noniin arts also hosts events and short practicals to share skills and ideas around painting, drawing, colours and more.

Practicals will include:

  • CMY colour mixing (acrylic)
  • Playing with the Zorn palette (oils)
  • Watercolours
  • Creative and experimental drawing

Shipping, help and more information

Shipping

Local area (Canberra Metro and Queanbeyan): Choose either flat rate $13.40 via Australia Post or free home delivery to residential address (not to locker or PO Box).

Everywhere else in Australia: flat rate of $13.40 or free shipping for orders over $150.

Australia Post options include signature on delivery and up to $100 cover for loss and damage. noniin arts will provide extra cover for loss or damage to meet the value of your order.

Distribution enquiries and orders from retailers or educational institutions are welcome – please get in touch to arrange.

If you would like to purchase outside of Australia, please get in touch to see if this is possible.

As a small independent business, we value your support, and aim to help as much as possible.

Consumer guarantees

noniin arts follows the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) consumer guarantees. See here for more information.

This means, a return or exchange may be a possible remedy to a major problem with the product or service, and/or if the ACCC consumer guarantees are not met.

If you are concerned there is an issue with your purchase, please get in touch with us at info@noniin.com.au as soon as possible so we can work out an appropriate solution or remedy.

Returns

Returns are not offered in the following circumstances:

  • the consumer got what they requested but changed their mind, found the product cheaper somewhere else, or decided they didn’t like the purchase or had no use for it.
  • the problem with the product was caused by the consumer misusing it.
  • the consumer knew of or were made aware of the problem with the product before they bought it (but they may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a different problem with the product that wasn’t made clear to them before they bought it).
  • the consumer asked for a service to be done in a certain way against the advice of the business.
  • the problem with a service was caused by the actions of someone other than the business.

Payments

This site uses Woocommerce as a trusted solution for safe, secure payments. Woocommerce is an open source platform used by millions of ecommerce sites.

The checkout process is protected by SSL encryption (Look for the padlock in your browser address bar). Payments are processed securely by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliant providers.

noniin arts takes no responsibility for any extra charges your card provider or credit facility may charge at the receiver end.

GST

GST is not applied to noniin arts retail prices at this time, because we are not registered for GST. This is because we are under the GST threshold, but this will change when the business grows.
