Watercolours

Wallace Seymour vintage watercolours are fine quality, hand-made, available in 5ml and 20ml tubes.

Using a mix of traditional, rare and hand-sourced pigments, the Vintage Watercolour range offers a selection of unique colours. As with the other Wallace Seymour products, the NE (native earth) colours are unique, hand-dug and/or sourced from a variety of different locations. Pigments may be bound with gum arabic and honey (rather than cheaper industrial glycerine).

The Wallace Seymour vintage watercolours are known for their character and different granulation or flow than modern synthetic or glycerine-based paints. Granulation is where a pigment may separate from the binder, resulting in an irregular, natural quality.
